Established as an Artist, painting all around Melbourne Australia, also featuring in various group exhibitions

2012-2013 -

Resided in California, USA painting with local artists

2013 - 2018 -

Further establishing the name in Melbourne Australia

2018 - present -

Moved to Japan and established "Yoka Paint", in Fukuoka

Originally qualified as an Interior Architect from Monash University and worked for Suters Architects which specializes in the public sector, and Red Design Group which specializes in Retail. The hobby of painting slowly turned into a profession and in 2007, made the switch to pursue art as a career.

 

From then on we have been working painting all kinds of retail spaces such as cafes, stores, restaurants and office spaces such as entrance feature walls and meeting spaces, as well as external walls of businesses and signage. We have also worked with various governments painting public spaces, as well as workshop programs with local kids.

 

In 2012 we lived in Los Angeles for a year, painting with local artists and exhibiting in group exhibitions, gaining valuable experience.

 

In 2018, we made the move to Fukuoka to start a new chapter and established "Yoka Paint", to splash a bit of colour on the concrete landscape of Japan.
